We built this place around the trips we love: early starts on the water, long days outside, and everyone coming back to one table. The house gives your group space to gather and room to retreat.
Enjoy the open kitchen and living floor, balconies overlooking the water, Starlink Wi‑Fi, and guest access to the pass-through garage with tall roll-up doors.

Bring back the catch.
Everything is close at hand, whether you head out with a guide or bring your own boat for a few days on the Texas coast.

Green fishing lights illuminate the water beneath the observation deck after dark.

Request a boat slip with sling-style lift as an add-on to your stay.
Ask about half-day and full-day inshore or offshore trips.

Keep live bait close at hand.
A Ready Bait live-bait maintainer is planned beside the boat-slip area, adding another practical touch for your days on the water.
Installation is upcoming. Ask us to confirm availability for your stay.

The dock has a second shift.
Watch the green lights transform the water below the observation deck, then stay out and fish into the evening. This is one of the experiences that sets the lodge apart for anglers.
Four bedrooms.
Space for the crew.
One king, seven queens, and a twin bunk set give you ten beds. The lodge sleeps up to 18 when guests share the king and queen beds.
A fourth bathroom is downstairs beside the kitchen and living area.

Your days on the coast,
thoughtfully arranged.
Wake up over coffee, head out on the water, and return to a meal with your crew. Stay for the sunset—and another cast under the green lights.
Build your stay around the moments you want to share. Ask us to coordinate guided fishing, a private chef meal, or air and ground travel for your group. Each itinerary is arranged around your dates and confirmed before your visit.

We’ll help shape the trip.
Step away from the usual meeting room. Ace in the Hole Lodge offers a private coastal setting for leadership offsites, client retreats, and team gatherings of up to 18 overnight guests.
Start with the lodge, then build a full-service itinerary around the people coming: air and ground travel coordination, private chef service, enhanced audiovisual support, guided fishing, and seasonal Blast & Cast experiences. We’ll discuss the schedule and scope with you before confirming each element.

The coast is for everyone.
There is plenty to do between the fishing trips. Pack less for the beach, make time for games outdoors, and bring your dog along.
Take the chairs and umbrellas to the beach, find your spot, and make an afternoon of it. Return to the lodge for dinner and a sunset on the deck.
A six-passenger golf cart can be requested as a rental add-on, subject to availability.
Set up for the fishing trips, coastal days, and time together our family loves—and ready for yours.
Wild coast.
Room to breathe.
The lodge sits on the Intracoastal Waterway across from San Bernard National Wildlife Refuge. Look toward the refuge from the waterside deck, or toward the Gulf of America from the front of the house.
The refuge protects more than 70,000 acres of coastal marsh, prairie, lakes, and forest. It gives this stretch of coast its sense of space and makes Sargent a memorable base for fishing, birding, beach days, and simply slowing down.
Explore the nearby brown-sand beach and its weathered limestone shoreline. Down the ICW, the distinctive Sargent Corkscrew Bridge is a local landmark. Back at the lodge, linger outside for sunset and moonlight across the water.
